Emergency Veterinary Nurse Role
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinary Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art emergency and referral hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with our experienced veterinary team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide emergency triage and initial assessment, stabilisation of critical patients, monitoring and nursing care, diagnostic support, surgical & anaesthetic assistance and effective client communication.
* Contribute to the success of our emergency department by working closely with our Emergency Team Leader & Vets to support ECC workflow and foster a positive team culture.
Essential Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent veterinary qualification
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an emergency referral hospital setting
* Demonstrated commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and driving continuous improvement
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position
