Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Supervisor to lead and support our front-of-house team. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, upholding service standards, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage business phone calls and reservations professionally during operating hours.
- Lead and support front-of-house staff to ensure outstanding customer service and smooth team performance.
- Collaborate with the management team to meet sales targets and drive operational excellence.
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
- Monitor food and beverage presentation and quality throughout service.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Provide input on menu development and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a busy restaurant is preferred.
- Current SA RSA is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and keen attention to detail.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Sushi-making experience is highly regarded.
