The Deployment Engineer will play an integral role in delivering our products to clients, collaborating closely with the commercial and engineering teams to ensure a seamless sales, integration, and deployment process. This position requires a highly organised and technically proficient individual with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‐solving.
The crux of the role will involve travel around Australia to deploy our robots within warehouse sites. It is crucial you are able to travel for 1-2 weeks at a time.
Key Responsibilities
* Comprehensive technical understanding of computer systems, with prior experience in autonomous hardware systems or computer vision applications preferred.
* Proven hands‐on experience with hardware in operational environments, including system assembly, disassembly, and on‐site debugging.
* Serve as the primary customer contact for the deployment and installation of hardware and software platforms.
* Coordinate with customers to plan and schedule installations, incorporating mechanical, electrical, software, and network components.
* Conduct on‐site visits to execute system setup, configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting in accordance with project specifications.
* Develop, maintain, and update installation, deployment, operational, and troubleshooting documentation for both customers and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain effective communication with customers to resolve technical issues and ensure successful completion of deployment activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong software debugging and problem‐solving skills, with demonstrated ability to address technical challenges effectively on customer premises.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
* Valid driving license required.
