Raven Defence Security is a specialist security company delivering armed guarding, K9 services, tactical response, and high-risk security operations across Victoria.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operations and lead our field teams. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands licensed security, compliance, and real-world operations.
About the role
As Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and compliant operation of Raven Defence Security's services across multiple sites and shifts.
You will oversee K9 units, armed guards, unarmed/static guards, and response teams, ensuring jobs are properly staffed, incidents are managed professionally, and standards are consistently met.
This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with supervisors, HR, training, and support teams.
What you'll be doing
* Managing day-to-day security operations across all divisions
* Leading Assistant Operations Managers and Unit Supervisors
* Acting as the main escalation point for incidents, client issues, and operational risks
* Making sure all operations comply with VicPol licensing, firearms, and K9 requirements
* Overseeing rostering, shift coverage, and fatigue management
* Responding to serious incidents and ensuring correct reporting and follow-up
* Supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory checks
