Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our paediatric pharmacy team as a strategic leader. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a redevelopment with new facilities at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick and The Children's Hospital, Westmead.
The role will provide leadership and mentorship to the technical workforce, supporting a high-performing culture with Pharmacy technicians and assistants working at the top of their scope of practice. Key responsibilities include:
* Effective management and development of Pharmacy technicians and assistants
* Supporting central and decentralised service operational models within the Pharmacy
* Oversight of automated inventory management and clinical operations including medication management and patient flow
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and driving quality improvement initiatives. They will also have knowledge of current developments in paediatric pharmacy practice.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. A passion for providing high-quality patient care and commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
