Assistant Site Manager Role Overview
This is a dynamic and challenging role that involves assisting the site manager in project managing the construction process from start to finish.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the program for flow of construction for a lifestyle retirement village based in Hervey Bay.
* Ensure a safety-first approach on site with up to 100 contractors.
* Allocate materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of the project.
* Inspect completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanship.
* Ensure homes are completed on time.
* Train trades on company processes and systems.
* Liaise with customers and council as required to provide an unbeatable customer service.
About You:
* A building trade certificate or willingness to complete Cert IV Building and Construction.
* Ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes efficiently.
* General knowledge of basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to residential home building.
* Strong communication and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems.
