A leading transport manufacturing company in the Northern Suburbs (Green Fields, SA) is seeking a Team Leader Boilermaker | Welder to join their team. The important parts: • Day shift: 6:30am – 2:36pm • Competitive casual pay rate: $68.75 per hour plus penalties • Immediate start available • Opportunity for permanent employment directly with the client What you will be required to do: Lead and support the manufacturing of transport buses through welding, fabrication, and assembly of stainless steel components. • Lead and support a small team of welders/fabricators • MIG weld stainless steel and work with sheet metal • Read and interpret engineering drawings • Fabricate and assemble stainless steel components for buses • Ensure safety and quality standards are met • Support production targets and workflow efficiency • Maintain a clean and safe workspace To be successful in the role you will: • Have proven experience as a Boilermaker / Welder in stainless steel fabrication • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment • Be able to MIG weld stainless steel • Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings • Have full working rights in Australia • Have reliable transport and ability to get to work • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork What’s on offer for you: • Work within a supportive and well-equipped workshop • Immediate start • Hands-on experience in bus manufacturing and stainless steel fabrication • Long-term employment opportunity directly with the client Synergie Australia delivers a full 360º recruitment solution, consisting of temporary and permanent recruitment services, and more.
