This leadership role is responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of homelessness and housing services aligned with strategic goals, funding requirements, and regulatory standards.
The Men's Hostel accommodates 25 men and has two crisis accommodation properties accommodating a further 8 men. These properties operate as a stepping stone for men preparing to sustain their own tenancy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead day-to-day operations and deliver program outcomes across client services, staff performance, budgets, and compliance.
2. Build a culture of quality and accountability, focusing on continuous improvement and holistic client care.
3. Oversee all aspects of program compliance, service agreements, and financial management.
4. Mentor and support staff through coaching, supervision, and performance planning.
5. Represent the program in internal and external forums, building strong relationships across the sector.
6. Promote safe, ethical, and evidence-informed practices that align with our mission and strategic direction.
Requirements
1. Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or a related field are required.
2. Proven experience leading programs or services in the community sector is essential.
3. Strong leadership and operational management skills, including budget oversight and human resources, are necessary.
4. A deep understanding of sector standards, funding guidelines, and legislation is also required.
5. A commitment to social justice and the values-driven work of the community services sector is expected.
