Remuneration: $116, $120,469.88 per annum (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About the Opportunity

The Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse (PCSN) provides specialised, evidence-based care to men diagnosed with prostate cancer, addressing needs at diagnosis, post-treatment, and during survivorship. In this role, you will complement existing nursing services, support patients and families, and coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include assessing and triaging patients, maintaining accurate records, understanding treatments and clinical effects, providing psychosocial support and education, advocating for patients, facilitating access to supportive care services, and participating in case conferences and MDT meetings.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

* Compassionate, patient-centred nursing practice with a focus on oncology care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
* Organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage patient assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation
* Confidence and proficiency in using digital systems and maintaining accurate records
* Ability to provide education, advocacy, and psychosocial support to patients and families
* Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and coordinated care throughout the prostate cancer care journey
