What you'll be doing:
Producing custom cabinets and built-in furniture to client specifications.
Interpret design plans, drawings and cutting lists to carry out the manufacturing process.
Operate a range of hand and power tools and new machinery to cut, shape and assemble joinery components.
Apply finishes such as stains, varnishes, laminates and hardware to completed pieces.
Collaborate with our design and site teams to develop practical, attractive solutions for clients.
Ensure all work meets required quality, WHS and company standards.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
Install cabinetry on site across Darwin and surrounding areas.
Supervise or support apprentices and less experienced team members.
What we're looking for:
Demonstrated experience in cabinet and furniture construction.
Minimum of 2-4 years of cabinet making experience required.
Confident reading and interpreting design plans, drawings and cutting lists.
Strong hand-eye coordination, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Good communication and problem-solving skills when working with clients and other trades.
Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a tidy work area.
Experience with cabinetry design/CNC software (e.g Cabinet Vision, similar) is an advantage but not essential.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
