This is a fixed-term part-time position available until December 2026, funded through the 500 Workers Initiative Grant.

The successful candidate will be required to provide specialist clinical, support, and advocacy services to victim-survivors of sexual assault and their non-offending family members and support system.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide trauma-informed counselling services to clients

* Participate in outreach services and educational program delivery

* Develop and maintain knowledge of Tasmanian legislation and policies related to sexual assault, child protection, and family violence

Requirements

* Minimum of a bachelor's degree in counselling, social work, psychology, or equivalent qualification

* Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed counselling and crisis intervention

* Ability to work with diverse client groups and meet their needs
