Lead a high performing Emergency Department in a unique regional setting
We are seeking a confident and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, safe and efficient emergency care at Katherine Hospital. This is a critical leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to influence service delivery, drive improvement and support a skilled multidisciplinary team in achieving optimal patient outcomes.
About the Role
1. Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department
2. Oversee delivery of safe, timely and effective emergency care, aligned with national benchmarks
3. Lead service planning, performance monitoring and quality improvement initiatives
4. Manage human, financial and material resources to support sustainable service delivery
5. Act as a key clinical and operational reference point for multidisciplinary teams
About You
6. Extensive experience in emergency or acute care settings
7. Demonstrated high-level leadership capability, including strategic thinking and change management
8. Proven ability to analyse performance and implement service improvements
9. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
10. The ability to lead teams effectively in a complex and dynamic clinical environment
11. A commitment to culturally safe care
12. Postgraduate qualifications or working towards them, relevant to emergency or speciality practice
