We deliver a wide range of solar, engineering, and electrical distribution services to the electrical utility industry, with a focus on high-voltage systems and large-scale renewable energy projects.
The Opportunity
As we continue to achieve strong growth, we're looking for an experienced and motivated finance professional to join our team full-time. This hands‑on role is responsible for processing payroll, customer billing and accounts receivable and other general accounting functions that keep our business running smoothly. The role will be key in providing accurate and trusted financial insights by leading our month‑end close processes, preparing management reporting and ensuring the timely submission of tax obligations.
Working closely with our Directors and team members across the Accounts, Admin and Project Departments, you'll play a key role in our financial operations, maintaining accuracy, timeliness of data and supporting the company's ongoing growth in the renewable energy sector.
This role suits a team player who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, process improvement and takes ownership of their work. Experience and the ability to hit‑the‑ground running is what matters most, though a degree in business, commerce or accounting is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Receivable & Customer Billing
* Prepare and issue customer invoices and claims
* Track project progress and liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate billing
* Monitor and follow up on overdue payments
* Maintain customer records and assist with credit applications
* Payroll
* Prepare and process weekly payroll in Xero, including allowances, superannuation, & leave
* Maintain employee records and ensure payroll compliance
* Process PAYG, payroll tax, and superannuation payments and lodgments
* Support management with payroll reports and queries
* General Accounting & Statutory Obligations
* Prepare BAS, payroll tax, LSL contributions and superannuation submissions and ensure timely lodgment
* Perform bank and account reconciliations
* Maintain and update project costings
* Provide support to the Accounts Manager and Directors as required
* Identify and implement process changes in collaboration with the Directors and Accounts team
* Month end and reporting
* Timely completion of month‑end tasks and accounting adjustments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Monthly reporting and financial anlysys
* Assist with budgeting, and financial analysis for management
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in financial accounting, management reporting, payroll and statutory obligations
* Strong knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting software)
* Degree in business, commerce or accounting (preferred but not required)
* Excellent attention to detail and time management
* Ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks
* Confident communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
