About the Role
This is a high-level technical position focused on driving customer adoption of Microsoft Azure cloud services. Your primary responsibility will be to identify suitable workloads, design and architect solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and help customers move into active consumption of relevant products.
You will collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to provide expertise on offered services. This role demands strong knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure. You must also have a passion for solving business challenges using cloud technology solutions.
This is a demanding role requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong English language proficiency (additional languages are an asset). Travel within assigned geographies to customer locations may be necessary.
* Qualify customer opportunities and requirements, and assess potential solution fit for relevant offerings in Azure.
* Design solutions that incorporate software systems, cloud platforms, and professional services, and conduct technical workshops to demonstrate these solutions.
* Present at customer and partner briefings, sales meetings, and corporate events.
* Develop and execute proofs-of-concept to illustrate solution feasibility within the customer's environment.
* Hand over new customer wins to professional services or customer success teams.
* Participate in or host industry meet-ups and user groups.
* Publish reference architectures, significant wins, best practices, etc., internally and externally.
* Maintain a brand presence through blogging and YouTube channels, and update customer opportunity status in Salesforce.
