We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a well-established FMCG food manufacturing operation based in the South-West region of Western Australia, near Bunbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering strong earning potential and support for those relocating to the region.
The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure production runs efficiently and safely. Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
* Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs efficiently
* Support production teams to maintain optimal equipment performance
* Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
* Ensure all work complies with safety and food manufacturing standards
About You
* Cert III in Mechanical Fitting (or equivalent) - essential
* Previous experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment is highly desirable
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team
* A proactive approach to safety and maintenance practices
