AWS Utility Computing (UC) offers innovative products, from foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2 to new features that distinguish AWS in the industry. As part of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services, including specialized security solutions for cloud customers.
Our Region Services team redefines AWS regional design, build, and operation to enable new cloud infrastructure and service offerings across industries and organization sizes, including startups, enterprises, and public sector entities. We seek experienced Systems Development Engineers with a strong background in cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead design, implementation, and automation of complex Windows infrastructure solutions across multiple environments.
* Serve as the technical specialist for infrastructure automation, system architecture, and enterprise-scale Windows environment management.
* Develop automated solutions for Windows infrastructure deployment and management.
* Architect and maintain Active Directory and domain controller infrastructure across multiple security domains.
* Create Infrastructure as Code templates for Windows environments.
* Automate system administration workflows using PowerShell, Python, and other tools.
* Design scalable solutions for meeting rooms, video walls, and enterprise printing services.
* Lead initiatives for infrastructure improvements and automation.
* Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices and Windows management.

Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server 2019/2022/2025.
* Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
* Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V or similar).
* Managing enterprise-scale Windows environments.
* Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
* Advanced Microsoft certifications.
* Experience with configuration management systems (SCCM, PowerShell DSC).
* Designing and implementing security controls in classified environments.
* Proven success in large-scale automation solutions.
* Architecture and system design skills.
* Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
