Through a positive mindset and a team of more than 70 professionals in an international team.About the roleThe purpose of the Manufacturing Engineer is to use good judgment to identify problems and potential problems as an opportunity to improve product production.Manufacturing and QualityFollow all setup procedures and work instructions as documented.Management and control of production orders.Support Quality Control and Capability group/Manufacturing to prepare for audits.Support with investigation for non-conformances and corrective actions.Complete all quality checks as documented; adjust and re-produce product as needed to provide accurate and damage-free product to the Customer.Ensure product assembled meets quality standards.Operate in an ISO 13485 environment (or GMP).Adopt an analytical approach to decision making.Take ownership of the work and make decisions confidently.Communicate effectively on design issues with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.The role will be hands-on and highly technical, with an understanding of how your work affects the bigger picture.About youSkills and ExperienceA degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar applicable technical discipline.Experience working with automated processes (pharmaceutical, medical device, or food) is highly valued.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Mandarin is highly regarded.A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to articulate ideas for process and workflow improvements.An understanding of systems engineering and product integration processes is beneficial.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001.Computer Skills: Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint & Project), CAD software (preferably Solidworks and/or Creo/Pro-e), FEA software.An understanding of designing for manufacturing processes: injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication, compression moulding, elastomers, machining.Why IDEExceptional mentoring program to ensure your career progresses where you want to go.Flexible working options.Employee Assistance Program.Cross-Functional Team.Global Company.Social Activities.Ready to join the team?If you are ready to be challenged but fulfilled, and have the right skills, experience, and most importantly, the right attitude, then a truly unique role in a life-changing product development company awaits.
