Stratum Civil, a leader in the construction industry is in a current growth journey and looking to hire a Surveyor to join our team.
This experienced and enthusiastic Civil Surveyor will join our team on a full-time basis working alongside our contracting team, project managers and engineers. This role is a key player in our construction process working across Toowoomba.
Responsibilities
* Conduct all aspects of the surveying process across sites and projects including bulk earthworks, stormwater, water, sewer infrastructure and roadworks for residential, industrial, and commercial projects.
* Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports.
* Provide expert advice, management & instruction on a range of surveying projects.
* Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities.
* Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing & management of the total project.
* Liaison with clients, communication within the business and assisting with budgets, accounts.
* Adhere to the company's work, health & safety policies.
Essential skills & Experience
* Previous experience working on engineering surveying projects in a senior capacity.
* Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once.
* Motivated about the industry and genuine interest in Surveying.
* Experience managing multiple projects at once.
* Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
* Strong technical and communication skills.
