Woolcott Land Services is a leader in providing land development services, including surveying, town planning, bushfire assessments and project management across Tasmania. We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate or Registered Land Surveyor to join our team. The location of this position is flexible and can be located in Launceston or at a new office on the north-west coast.
THE ROLE
* For north-west coast applicants, the possibility of an ongoing survey management role for a new office, depending on experience and capabilities
* Conduct field surveys using GPS, robotic, total stations, and other surveying equipment
* Data collection, analysis, and reporting for various projects
* Prepare survey reports, plans, and other documentation
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
ABOUT YOU
* You are degree qualified
* Have knowledge of surveying principles and equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations, scanners)
* Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar (preferred but not essential)
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of clients and third parties in a friendly and professional manner.
* A natural ability to collaborate openly with team members and display a positive work ethic
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Willingness to work outdoors and travel to project sites
* A valid driver's license & Industry White Card
