About the role
Based at Vantage Maleny this role will be bringing our Vantage vision to life by creating a vibrant community where Home Owners want to belong through the delivery of a customer focused, financially sustainable operating model.
This is a live out position, Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day.
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Managing and overseeing day to day operations of the community in accordance with all relevant legislation and internal governance requirements
* Overseeing the financial performance of the community through effective budget/cost management ensuring all KPI targets are met
* Building a strong culture of trust and safety across the community with a focus on proactive management
* Leading community based staff by modelling actions and behaviours consistent with our values and customer focused operating model
Skills and experience
Previous experience as a Community or Resort Manager preferably in Land Lease Communities, Retirement Living, Hotel Management, Property Management, Holiday Parks or similar essential.
Must have demonstrated ability to build and manage effective teams, experience with budget and cost management along with strong commercial acumen.
Strong customer service skills.
In addition, you will have:
* Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills;
* Strong attention to detail; and
* Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Current valid 'class c' drivers licence
