About The Role
Operating within Occupational Therapy (Ballarat), the Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy (Ballarat) is expected to make significant contributions to the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University; and to contribute to research relevant to the field of occupational therapy. Substantial work has been undertaken over the last 10 years in an effort to decolonise the curriculum, and Cultural supports are available within the school, faculty and university for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. ACU has a strong focus on community engagement and working with local communities. The Senior Lecturer will:
Work with the Head of Discipline Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Course Coordinators, the National Course Coordinator and other occupational therapy staff to ensure that the implementation of the National program is comprehensively managed.Supervise honours students and develop a research profile relevant to occupational therapy.Make important contributions to the establishment of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Ballarat campus (Victoria).
