Purpose Of Position
The Strategic Partnerships Leader, APAC – AI Network Infrastructure is responsible for developing and executing the APAC channel strategy to drive revenue growth for Corning’s passive optical connectivity portfolio supporting AI network infrastructure, including Hyper 5, NeoCloud and sovereign AI opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Channel Strategy & Revenue Growth
o Create and execute APAC channel strategic plan focusing on investment and deployment of AI network infrastructure, NeoCloud and sovereign AI opportunities, including territory/segment prioritization, and partner coverage models.
o Collaborate with regional sales leaders and strategic account teams to build and manage pipeline that translates partner activity into qualified opportunities, forecasts, and closed revenue.
o Drive partner‑led adoption of Corning’s high‑density passive optical connectivity for GPU clusters and scale‑out network fabrics.
* NeoCloud & Sovereign AI Opportunity Development
o Identify and pursue NeoCloud and government‑led AI infrastructure programs, mapping stakeholders, decision paths, procurement models, and partner roles.
o Apply Neocloud & sovereign AI commercial playbook (prospecting, ecosystem mapping, outreach, and opportunity qualification) in collaboration with internal business development and market intelligence resources.
o Create, scale and optimize relationships with Hyper‑Scale Data Centre Developers to grow the H5 business region‑wide.
o Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure solution positioning aligns with sovereign AI priorities such as domestic control, compliance expectations, and resilience requirements.
* Strategic Partnerships
o Develop and maintain effective working‑level relationships with (but not limited to):
+ NVIDIA
+ Dell
+ WWT
+ Hyper‑Scale Data Centre developers
o Across APAC to build advocacy, increase “right‑to‑win”, and create repeatable engagement models (joint‑selling, enablement, reference designs, demand generation).
o Drive alignment between partner AI infrastructure value propositions and Corning’s passive optical connectivity solution, to position early in design and spec‑in.
o Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure solution positioning aligns with sovereign AI priorities such as network latency, speed of deployment, cluster scalability, and future network speed migration path.
* Partner Enablement & Program Management
o Develop partner onboarding and enablement plans (training, playbooks, solution briefs, and deployment guidance) to increase partner selling effectiveness for AI infrastructure use cases.
o Coordinate with marketing to execute partner campaigns, events, and field programs that build awareness and generate qualified leads in AI DC and sovereign AI segments.
o Establish partner governance to manage certification expectations, deal registration, conflict management, and adherence to Corning commercial policies.
* Cross‑Functional Execution
o Manage internal alignment across business operations, product line management, marketing, application engineering, customer service and supply chain teams.
o Provide market feedback and competitive insights on AI cabling/connectivity trends, channel dynamics, and partner strategy.
Travel Required
* Up to 40% travel within APAC.
Preferred Experience & Skills
* 8+ years in channel sales, partner management, business development, or ecosystem roles within data center infrastructure, networking, cabling/connectivity, or adjacent technologies.
* Demonstrated success building and scaling partner‑driven revenue across multiple APAC markets, including distributor/SI/channel programs execution.
* Working knowledge of AI data center infrastructure.
* Strong commercial skills: pipeline creation, forecasting, value‑based selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
* Excellent communication and executive presence with strong capability to influence across partner and internal organizations.
* Proficient with digital selling tools.
* Experience engaging with GPU/AI ecosystem stakeholders and reference architectures.
* Exposure to sovereign AI / regulated industry projects (government, defense, finance, healthcare) and understanding of data residency and compliance.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
