Our mental health team is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our recovery centre in a rural location.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide individualized, evidence-based care to mental health inpatients. You will work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and other team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering 24-hour care to inpatients
* Developing and implementing individualized care plans
* Working effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Required skills and qualifications:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated experience working with mental health consumers, including those with co-morbidities
* Interpretation and application of the Mental Health Act 2007
* Commitment to person-centred care, reduction of seclusion and restraint, and recovery model of care
* Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
