The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) enables a more connected and secure government so that South Australian (SA) Government agencies can better serve our community.

You will lead the development of whole-of-government strategies and policy frameworks across digital services, cyber security, and emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and risk management principles.
By influencing cross-agency initiatives and representing the Office of the Chief Information Officer in key forums, you will help deliver secure, innovative, and future-ready digital solutions that strengthen government capability and improve outcomes for the community.
About The Role A successful applicant will: Drive the formulation of statewide digital strategies and policy frameworks aligned with government priorities.
Provide high-level, evidence-based advice on complex ICT, cyber security, and technology issues with whole-of-government impact.
Represent OCIO in intergovernmental committees, strategic forums, and cross-agency taskforces, influencing policy direction and outcomes.
Establish and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships across government, industry, and national jurisdictions to enable collaboration and innovation.
Communicate complex technical concepts and strategic objectives clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and engagement.
