About the role: The Senior Project Officer position will play a key role in supporting the delivery and implementation of a new digital application designed to replace current manual paper-based processes used during roadside drug and alcohol intercepts. This position is based within Road Policing. Working collaboratively with a broad range of internal stakeholders across the organisation and external vendors, the role provides project delivery support across implementation, rollout and transition to business as usual. The position combines business analysis, change enablement and benefits realisation to ensure the initiative delivers measurable outcomes. Success in this role requires well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, strong analytical skills, critical thinking and communication capabilities. The position will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions, support rollout activities and change activities, and lead post‑implementation evaluation and project closure activities to help ensure that the new application is embedded effectively across the organisation. Your duties will include: Support the delivery of a complex IT project, by: Develop, maintain and contribute project documentation. Coordinate stakeholders across multiple areas, vendors and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements, project deliverables, dependencies and timelines. Facilitate workshops, meetings and consultation processes. Deliver high-quality project reporting, including financial analysis, and budget performance insights. Supporting the identification, measurement and monitoring of project benefits, and contributing to benefits realisation reporting and post‑implementation evaluation About You: The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: Demonstrated ability to work proactively and autonomously and can anticipate future needs to keep project delivery on track. Experience in stakeholder management with well‑developed relationship‑building skills across diverse operational, technical and senior stakeholder groups. Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery. Experience in the planning and implementation of new ICT applications. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with experience defining measurable outcomes and tracking performance indicators. Experience in accounting, financial management and strategic reporting. Further Information: One (1) x full-time, fixed term position until 31/12/28 available. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
