About The Role
KONE is looking for an experienced Procurement Category Manager – Indirects to lead and deliver category strategies across our Australia and New Zealand business. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping indirect procurement strategies, driving value through end‑to‑end sourcing projects, and managing key supplier relationships across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams, acting as the category lead for Indirects within the ANZ region while ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement category procurement strategies and plans aligned to business objectivesLead end‑to‑end procurement projects, including RFx activities and supplier selectionManage and negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring value, compliance, and risk mitigationLead contract implementations and resolve contract‑related issuesMonitor market trends, benchmarks, and best practices across indirect categoriesDevelop and improve category‑specific policies, processes, and governance
You will bring:
At least 4 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related fieldPreferred MCIPS qualification (or working towards)Experience managing indirect categories across multiple business unitsStrong experience in category management, sourcing, and supplier negotiationsExcellent stakeholder, change, and project management skillsConfidence working in a matrixed, international environment
