The Role
Reporting to the Director, Right Fit For Risk (RFFR), the Assistant Director will be responsible for providing management and support to Cyber Security Assessors and Program Support Officers delivering the RFFR program. The program provides an assurance for third-party service providers that their systems meet the department's security requirements.
You will be responsible for enabling activities for the RFFR program, including coordination of assurance processes, financial management and stakeholder engagement with third-party service providers, partner agencies and internal areas to support effective program delivery.
You will assist in leading the team during a transition phase which will impact approximately 300 third-party service providers, involving engagement and change management with key internal and external stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with other leadership roles within the team to ensure BAU output is maintained, participate in governance activities and actively contribute to team culture.

The Opportunity
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and/or APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 6 months.
Eligibility
Our successful candidate will need to hold a valid Baseline clearance to undertake the role.
