Job Overview
The Kites Program Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Group Activity Managers with day trip planning and assessing venue suitability to meet client needs and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning:
o Assist with quarterly planning of the Kites Program and Shopper Bus Service
o Coordinate and book morning tea and lunch venues for planned day trips
o Liaise with Kites Workers and attend staff meetings to maintain collaboration
* Administrative Assistance:
o Prepare CHSP Welcome Packs and Home Care Files
o Assist with purchasing and ordering Kites supplies/equipment
o Support compliance, including vehicle and cleaning audits
o Assist with scheduling client activities and provide relief support
* Safety:
o Conduct risk assessments of current venues destinations used in the Kites Program
o Collaborate with Group Activity Managers to schedule off-site risk assessments
* Relationship Management:
o Accompany Kites and Shopper Bus Workers on client trips to gather feedback
o Maintain existing stakeholder relationships and build new contacts
Essential Criteria
* COVID-19 vaccination
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance within 6 months validity
* Western Australian C Class Driver's License
* Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
* Experience in planning and organising trips and events
* Intermediate computer literacy, Microsoft Office Suite experience
