About the Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on position that sits at the heart of our operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll play a vital role in keeping the Centre running smoothly by providing operational support, managing our office space, and helping teams work efficiently and effectively. You'll work across a wide range of administrative, logistical, and systems functions that underpin our research, academic, and engagement activities. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in creating order from complexity, and thrives in a mission-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
General Administration & Operational Support
* Provide day-to-day operational support for colleagues, including procurement, finance, travel, events, meetings, and grant administration
* Maintain our Document Management System (DMS) to enable seamless collaboration across the Centre
Building & Facilities Management
* Ensure our workplace meets health and safety standards, resolve building maintenance issues, and manage space allocation
* Develop and implement seating plans, liaise with contractors, and oversee mail distribution
* Coordinate emergency management and fire drills
Salesforce Management
* Spend around two days per week updating and managing Salesforce data
Special Projects
* Support strategic projects as required by the CEO or COO
