Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Branch Manager to lead branches in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. The role is hands‑on and ideal for someone with a background in mortgage broking or banking, thriving in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in mortgage broking or banking (e.g., Relationship Manager, Personal Banker, Lending Manager)
* Strong understanding of broker-client-bank dynamics
* Proactive, hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
* Must be able to commit full‑time and be physically present at the branch daily
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and train a team of mortgage brokers
* Develop tailored training and development plans for each broker
* Monitor broker performance and provide ongoing coaching
* Support brokers in managing relationships with banks and lenders
* Liaise with the back‑office credit and processing teams
* Oversee daily branch operations, including administration, expenses, and profitability
* Contribute to marketing strategy and execute local campaigns to drive business growth
