The Role
This is a key role in our operations team, responsible for designing traffic management plans, securing permits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You'll work closely with councils, clients, and internal teams to deliver safe, effective traffic solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
* Creating traffic management plans using RapidPlan (or similar software)
* Lodging and managing permits via the Roadworks Portal and other platforms
* Liaising with local councils, City of Adelaide (COA), and Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT)
* Scheduling jobs using Traffio or similar systems
* Ensuring all plans meet legal, safety, and signage standards
* Supporting field teams with traffic control knowledge and documentation

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in traffic planning and permit applications
* Minimum 1-2 years of traffic planning experience required
* Proficiency with RapidPlan or similar design tools
* Familiarity with Roadworks Portal and council/DIT processes
* Strong computer skills and confidence with PDFs, maps, and digital forms
* Previous traffic control experience (highly regarded)
* Knowledge of traffic control regulations and site safety
Highly Desirable
* Traffic Management Designer TMD1-3
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines
