One of the current challenges is our Coomera Connector Project. This strategic project aiming to create a new north-south corridor to relieve congestion on Queensland's M1 East, will improve road safety and ease traffic flow in a rapidly growing area. Seymour Whyte is responsible for delivering a key section of this infrastructure in Queensland, and as such, is looking for Site Engineers V.I.E. F/M who will be excited to join

What you can expect as a Construction Project Engineer @Seymour Whyte?
As part of the Seymour Whyte teams, you will play a key role in supervising a specific worksite area while working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and more.
* Manage schedules and coordinate subcontractors on your perimeter (conduct and administer overall job planning and programming);
* Define and ensure the supply of material needs of your perimeter;
* Monitor construction progress and ensure the smooth running of the work;
* Participate in the financial management of the project;
* Monitor daily costs of all time-dependent elements on the project and implications;
* Undertake cost controlling and estimating as required;
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and requirements related to Quality Assurance, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment;
* The project you will join can differ based on your application time and your technical expertise.
Profil
What about you?
You'll be a great fit if:
* You're looking for a role that mixes fieldwork with project coordination, and you're eager to get hands-on experience in construction.
* You hold a master's degree in civil engineering or construction and have initial experience in roadworks or civil engineering projects, giving you solid site knowledge that will help you integrate effectively on a technical level
* You make Health & Safety a priority. You follow the rules and actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment for everyone.
* You're comfortable with the fast pace and direct communication of construction sites, and your can-do attitude helps you face challenges head-on.
* You've got strong interpersonal skills and enjoy being part of a team. Your curiosity and openness make it easy for you to adapt and integrate quickly.
* You speak fluent English and feel confident communicating in any context-on site, in meetings, or day-to-day-and you're excited about the opportunity to live and work in Australia, making the most of everything it has to offer.
* You have your driver's license, and you're ready to move between sites if needed.
