The roleReporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Performance, the role is responsible for leading targeted activities to:
- improve forecasting capability and project scheduling
- Implementing sound project governance and reporting
- liaison between HHS and DOH to identify and remove barriers to project and operating success
- identify system-wide process improvements and encourage communication and collaboration across delivery entities.
Your key responsibilities
- Utilise high level interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships and networks to enhance capital and asset delivery performance to drive improved data performance, including forecasting and budget information.
- Provide high level advice, support and services to ensure the successful delivery of transparent, accurate and timely information.
- Prepare accurate and professional reports, submission, briefing notes, ministerial correspondence and policy and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with unit members to achieve targets, standards of capital and asset performance and behaviours to achieve Division priorities and organisational business and operational outcomes.

- Proven ability to critically assess complex evidence, provide high level advice and make robust business decisions on performance related matters pertaining to infrastructure delivery and asset management and maintenance activities.
- Proven ability of stakeholder management to build and nurture productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders; managing challenges with diplomacy, tact and a solutions-orientated approach.
- High level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to:
- Compile complex reports, briefs, correspondence and submissions
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of clients and stakeholders
- Cultivate productive working relationships, partnerships and teamwork
- Negotiate outcomes and effectively represent the interests of the Department.
- Work within a team, and autonomously, to achieve individual and group goals and commitment to quality contemporary human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety, risk management principles and ethical behaviour.
