Main duties of the job

As a Clinical Embryologist, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of laboratory work, including oocyte collection, sperm preparation and freezing, insemination and ICSI, fertilisation and embryo assessment, embryo freezing and transfer, and oocyte cryopreservation all tailored to your level of experience. If you're trained in biopsy, there are opportunities to get involved there too. If you're not, we will train you.

What We're Looking For:

You're a state-registered, ICSI-trained Clinical Embryologist who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and understands the vital role of the laboratory in the patient journey. Biopsy training is an advantage, but not essential. Above all, you bring professionalism, curiosity, and compassion to everything you do.

Location and Benefits:

This is a permanent position based at Care Fertility Northampton, 67 The Avenue, Northampton, NN1 5BT. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Core working days are Monday to Friday, with weekend and bank holiday cover on a rota basis.

Job responsibilities

As a Clinical Scientist you will perform a range of routine embryological duties including ICSI and embryo biopsy. You will work with the multidisciplinary team in coordinating treatment cycles and providing our patients with the best possible treatment experience and as a team giving each patient the very best chance of success. As a member of the Care Family, you will carry out your roles in a way that supports and delivers our shared values. You are caring, patient focused and committed to do your best.
