Alan Lennox Motors, a highly regarded and long-established independent Mercedes-Benz specialist, is seeking an accomplished Workshop Manager to lead our workshop operations and uphold the exceptional standards trusted by our discerning clientele.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a confident, structured professional who understands European vehicles, values accountability, and takes pride in building a high-performing, respectful workshop culture. You will have full responsibility for day-to-day operations, team leadership, and the continued success of a premium automotive business.
The Role
* Leading, mentoring, and developing a skilled team of technicians
* Managing workflow, job allocation, parts coordination, and quality assurance
* Ensuring clear communication and an exceptional customer experience
* Monitoring workshop financial performance, KPIs, labour efficiency, and profitability
* Maintaining a safe, organised, and highly professional working environment
* Setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable with fairness and respect
About You
* Demonstrated experience as a Workshop Manager or Senior Foreman (Mercedes-Benz or European vehicle experience highly regarded)
* Strong commercial awareness, including workshop financials and performance metrics
* The ability to inspire, coach, and support technicians to perform at their best
* A calm, organised, and decisive leadership style
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
* A genuine commitment to protecting and enhancing a premium brand reputation
