As part of this expansion, they are seeking a National Account Manager to leverage their technical expertise and sales acumen to maintain and grow food ingredient sales across a range of sectors, including Bakery, Dairy, Prepared Foods, Confectionery, Beverages, Pet Foods, and the Health & Well-being markets. What they are looking for: Proven Food Ingredient Industry experience and a track record of sales within the Bakery market. Ability to expand sales of existing products to existing customers. Ability to actively prospect, develop and expand sales of products to new customers. Ability to quickly establish and build sound relationships with both customers and principals. Experience handling multinational accounts Ability to provide a high level of technical service to the customer base Ability to manage the allocated products portfolio including responsibility for profitability, stock and working capital management, forecasting, principal/supplier liaison and marketing mix aspects. The resilience and confidence necessary to work in a competitive business environment. Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships. Experience 3-5 years related experience. Supervisory or Management Experience Not required. Education Tertiary Degree and/or professional experience in field. Professional Training and/or Certification Relevant technical and sales background as well as market experience. Proven food industry experience with a familiarity of Margarine and Shortening applications. Good understanding of the food markets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong commercial and presentation skills Great attention to detail Able to travel interstate and occasionally overseas
