Role Overview
As Solution Architect, you will translate business needs, technology strategies and security requirements into practical solution designs.
You will work across multiple ICT streams, including applications, data, platforms, infrastructure and cyber security, to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose, resilient, secure and aligned with enterprise standards.
The role requires a strong technical design background, sound judgement and the ability to guide stakeholders through architecture decisions. You will prepare design documentation, assess technical options, support governance processes and help projects move from concept through to approved delivery.
You will also contribute to the maturity of architecture practices, including reference models, design patterns, architecture repositories, governance processes and assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

* prepare architecture documentation, including solution designs, technical options, roadmaps and decision papers
* present recommendations to architecture and technology governance forums
* support project teams in navigating design approvals and technical decision-making
* contribute to reference architectures, target-state models and reusable design patterns
* maintain architecture information in enterprise repositories and related tools
* review delivered solutions against agreed architecture and design intent
* work with cyber security specialists to ensure risk, compliance and security obligations are embedded early
* provide technical input into procurement activities, vendor assessments and solution evaluations
* help improve ICT governance, architecture practices and internal delivery processes
About You
You will bring a mix of architectural thinking, hands-on technical understanding and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
You are likely to be successful in this role if you can demonstrate:
