Foreman | Class 2 Builder | South-West Sydney, NSW * Join a stable and growing builder/developer with repeat projects * Strong pipeline of Class 2 developments across Sydney * Competitive salary package based on experience About the Role Due to continued growth, an opportunity is now available for Foreman (open to various stages of your foreman journey) to join the site leadership team across multiple active and upcoming projects. This role will suit an experienced site leader as well as emerging foremen ready to step into the next stage of their career. You will play a key role in coordinating trades, driving programme milestones, maintaining site safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities - Junior Foreman * Assist the Site Manager and Senior Foreman with daily site operations * Supervise selected trades and subcontractors on allocated work areas * Monitor site productivity and ensure works are progressing to programme * Coordinate deliveries, materials, and site access requirements * Maintain site cleanliness and safe work areas * Complete site diaries, labour records, and progress updates * Assist with defect inspections and close-outs * Ensure workers comply with WHS policies and procedures * Support quality control checks and inspections * Step into greater responsibility as experience develops Key Responsibilities - Foreman * Manage day-to-day site operations across structure and/or finishes stages * Coordinate all trades, labour, suppliers, and subcontractors onsite * Drive programme targets and maintain construction sequencing * Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are achieved * Plan site logistics, crane lifts, deliveries, and materials handling * Conduct toolbox talks and enforce WHS compliance * Manage defects, reworks, and trade performance * Liaise with Site Manager, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors * Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting * Mentor junior staff and leading hands Key Responsibilities - Senior Foreman * Oversee all onsite construction activities across multiple work fronts * Lead Foremen, Junior Foremen, site teams, and subcontractors * Deliver programme milestones across structure, services, and finishes * Work closely with Project Manager and Site Manager on overall project delivery * Manage site resources, labour planning, and productivity outcomes * Ensure strict compliance with QA, WHS, environmental, and company systems * Resolve site issues proactively to minimise delays and costs * Coordinate consultants, authorities, inspections, and certifications * Drive quality outcomes and defect-free handover standards * Provide leadership, mentoring, and high-level site communication * Contribute to construction methodology, sequencing, and project strategy ________________________________________ About You * Experience in a Foreman position * Trade background a must * Cert IV Building and Construction * Strong knowledge of structure and/or finishes within Class 2 construction * Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage site workflow * Strong understanding of WHS and QA processes * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Organised, proactive and solutions-focused * Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, project systems) ________________________________________ What's On Offer * Join a stable and growing builder/developer with repeat projects * Strong pipeline of Class 2 developments across Sydney * Supportive leadership team and career progression opportunities * Competitive salary package based on experience * Opportunity to step up into larger projects and leadership roles ________________________________________ About the Company A highly regarded, ISO-certified property development and construction business with a strong reputation for delivering quality Class 2 apartment projects and contemporary residential developments across Greater Sydney.
