We are representing our Client in the recruitment of an experienced ECT based in Moreton Bay Region, Brisbane QLD. A welcoming long-day childcare centre and kindergarten providing early education and care for children from infants up to around 6 years old. The centre focuses on a nurturing, play-based learning environment with an emphasis on social, emotional, and cognitive development. Key Perks and Finer Details Salary: $41- $48 an hour super (negotiable dependent on experience) Full-time, permanent position Service Size: 125 children across all age groups (babies, toddlers, and preschoolers). Location: Moreton Bay Region, Brisbane QLD Paid professional development and opportunities for career growth Key Responsibilities Lead the educational program for the kindergarten room, ensuring alignment with the EYLF and NQS Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community Foster a collaborative and reflective team culture focused on continuous improvement Maintain compliance and documentation in line with the service’s exceeding standards Support school readiness through engaging, child-led, inquiry-based learning experiences What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Previous experience as an ECT or Room Leader in a pre-school or early learning environment Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and preschool best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, and Anaphylaxis training Why Join Our Client?
