About the Role
This is a hands-on generalist HR role where you'll partner closely with leaders to deliver compliant, efficient, and people-focused HR support.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing day-to-day HR advice and acting as the first point of contact for HR queries
* Supporting employee relations matters, including performance documentation, grievances, and investigations
* Coordinating onboarding, orientation, and probation tracking
* Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring audit-ready documentation
* Supporting WH&S administration, record keeping, and risk mitigation activities
* Assisting with policy updates, procedures, and HR documentation
* Coordinating training schedules and maintaining training compliance records
* Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in a human resources role, preferably within the social care sector
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a HR Advisor or generalist role
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation (SCHADS desirable)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail & ability to multitask
* Confident supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
