Job Title: Locum Hospital Social Worker

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team in providing high-quality support services.

* Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in domestic and family violence risk assessment, safety planning, and support services.

The role requires the ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations. Overseas-trained Social Workers should note that their qualifications must be assessed by AASW prior to applying.


Suitable candidates will possess excellent crisis intervention skills, particularly short-term support strategies. In addition to this, they must be eligible for AASW membership as per the requirements of this position.

* Cultural competence when working with diverse communities;

* Demonstrated experience in crisis interventions;

* A strong understanding of safety planning processes;
