About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard hand t to join our dealership team. This role is essential in ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest standard and the dealership yard is well-organized and maintained.
This role will involve general yard maintenance, vehicle detailing, and assisting with the overall presentation of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Movement
* Driving cars to and from service bays, storage areas, or display spots.
* Assisting with deliveries and pickups.
* Preparing cars for test drives or customer viewing.
Lot Organization
* Ensuring vehicles are parked neatly and safely.
* Keeping track of inventory locations so sales staff can quickly find cars.
* Presentation & Cleaning
* Washing, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles.
* Performing basic upkeep of dealership grounds (trash removal, sweeping).
Customer & Staff Support
* Helping customers locate vehicles on the lot.
* Assisting sales teams with vehicle presentation.
* Occasionally transporting vehicles to other dealership branches.
Skills & Requirements
* Valid driver's license with a clean record.
* Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
* Physical stamina for outdoor work and frequent vehicle handling.
