Job Description:
This role plays a vital part in the Defence Industry, supporting the Australian Defence Force across various locations nationwide. The team's expertise ensures effective and sustainable delivery of services.
The position is based at the Darwin RAAF base, NT, where you will work with defence personnel and enjoy the benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders on base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, an operator will be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation
* Responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations
* Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes
* Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing
Requirements:
* A strong team player, self-starter and dedicated employee
* Defence specific training will be advantageous
* Valid Driver's Licence (HR or HC highly regarded)
* Safety as a top priority
* Current Defence Security Clearance or ability to obtain it
