Job Title: Maintenance Specialist
About the Role: As a skilled maintenance professional, you will provide support and assistance in maintaining the facilities at Wallarano Primary School in Melbourne's southern suburbs. Your key responsibilities include coordinating tasks, performing routine maintenance on teaching facilities, and assisting teachers with technical duties.
Responsibilities:
* Gardens and Lawns: Maintain gardens and lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, controlling weeds, mulching, and watering.
* Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct general infrastructure maintenance including doors, locks, weather-strips, hinges, closers, gates, fences, classroom, and office furniture. Liaise with senior staff on all maintenance and repair issues.
* Buildings: Regularly inspect and empty spouting and downpipes, clean electrical cupboards, heating units, and store rooms, and sweep paved areas at least once a week.
