We are continuously growing, developing new services, and redesigning old ones. As the major clinical teaching and research centre, RHH works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.The Role:Your role will involve providing outpatient and community outreach services focusing on high-risk foot conditions and acute foot problems, closely linked to the multidisciplinary team. Many team members have achieved Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines, and we support you to do the same. We will ensure you are fully inducted and welcomed into our team and culture. Your colleagues in Allied Health, Medical, and Nursing will rely on your success and will support your growth.You will need to:Deliver a wide range of podiatric assessments and interventions based on best practice and patient-centred care for clients referred to the podiatry service.Work within podiatry and multidisciplinary teams to deliver services or programs relevant to local community health centres and outpatient services of the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).Prescribe and/or fabricate orthotic/offloading devices as appropriate.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment: Allied Health Professional, Level 1-2Multiple permanent full-time and part-time positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the publication date, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum (Pro rata).
