Waste Management Professional Role:
The position of a Waste Management Professional involves overseeing the efficient movement and disposal of waste from collection to final disposal. Key responsibilities include scheduling vehicle collections, managing logistics, coordinating controlled waste and quarantine operations while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and performance standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for allocating tasks and drivers, conducting performance reviews, troubleshooting operational issues, and managing quarantine and controlled waste operations including collections, disposal documentation, compliance audits, customer liaison, sampling coordination, and disposal applications.
Additional duties may include preparing reports using productivity tools, monitoring divisional expenditure, ensuring proper purchasing processes with approved suppliers, maintaining fleet coordination with maintenance schedules, and adhering to health and safety requirements per company policy.
Requirements:
