Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to spearhead our category sourcing strategy. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in strategic sourcing and be able to drive cross-functional teams to execute contracts and optimize our competitive position.
* Develop category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional teams to execute contracts and optimize our competitive position.
* Foster relationships with category suppliers to achieve optimal solutions and cost of ownership that meets business objectives.
* Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities.
* Provide market intelligence regarding categories and anticipate strategic opportunities.
* Drive category suppliers in supplier relationship management activities to mitigate risk and improve performance.
* Identify, achieve and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
* Bachelor's degree
* 5 years of experience in supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement or vendor management
* Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
* Experience leading large and complex negotiations
* 7+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience
* Proven experience managing multiple categories throughout career
