The Role
We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic business development lead with a passion for sustainability to work with our friendly, dynamic team to inspire people around the world to make a better future.
As part of THRIVE, you will have the opportunity to:
- Champion new initiatives.
- Help shape our thrivability efforts.
- Meet regularly with team members.
- Present ideas to people from a variety of disciplines.
Your efforts will enrich our organisation and help inspire people to create a thrivable future.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Developing and retaining relationships with existing partners
- Increasing following and store sales
- Writing funding and sponsorship proposals
- Negotiating with partners and sponsors
- Identifying and mapping organisational strengths and consumer needs
- Researching opportunities and viable income streams
- Following industry trends locally and internationally
- Drafting and reviewing agreements
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies
- Bachelor Degree in business or management, or other relevant field.
- At least 1 year of commercial experience in project management, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to plan and manage resources
- Ability to deliver presentations
- Willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- The ability to be proactive and self-manage your time.
- A self-driven mindset to make a better future for all.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Well-developed problem-solving abilities.
