Job Summary
Experienced safety‐focused Mine Technician (Tyre Fitter) to join the Maintenance team at Capcoal Opencut Mine in Middlemount, Queensland. Must hold trade qualifications and a Queensland licence, and have experience with heavy earthmoving equipment and large open‐cut coal mining operations.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrated experience in tyre fitting.
* Strong safety focus on all operations.
* Assist with maintenance tasks as required.
* Operate heavy mobile equipment, medium and light ancillary equipment, road trains and various wheeled equipment across the site.
Qualifications
* Earthmover tyre fitting experience on a mine site.
* Current Cert 2 OTR Tyre Maintenance Competencies.
* RIISAM210A – Remove, Fit and Adjust Wheels.
* RIISAM211A – Remove, Repair and Refit tyres and tubes.
* AURKTJ011 – Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off‐the‐road tyres.
* AURKTJ012 – Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off‐the‐road wheel and rim assemblies.
* Driver's licence.
* Forklift licence.
