Galligans Mattress Factory is seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our team in our Magill, SA factory. In this casual role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble and construct various mattress and bedding components.
What you'll be doing
* Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch, sew, and assemble mattress and bedding components
* Accurately follow production patterns and specifications to ensure high-quality workmanship
* Maintain sewing machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Identify and report any issues or defects in materials or workmanship
* Contribute to a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing or textile environment
* Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and able to interpret sewing patterns
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
